Effective March 2026, KWD will conduct a mandatory check valve installation for ALL KWD water service connections (existing connections, new service connection, reconnection, and relocation), starting from the area within Barangay Poblacion, particularly in the areas bounded by Rizal Avenue (from corner Segundo Street: Watson’s to Kabacan Pilot Central School-KPCS), and Sunset Avenue (from USM Avenue to General Segundo Street) as follows: -Mercado Street, -Arcedo Street, -Rio Grande Street, -Diego Silang Street (from KPCS to Matalam Street), -Matalam Street, and -Guiang Street The said activity will prevent backflow and contamination, protect public health, and ensure a safe and reliable water supply for the community.
